Job Description

Typical schedule is Monday-Thursday 7a.m.•5:30 p.m. (Busy season will include Fridays) The Press Brake Operator is responsible for the daily setup and operation of hydraulic CNC controlled brake press in our fabrication department. Press Brake Operator•
Essential Job Functions:
Efficiently and accurately set up and operate hydraulic brake press for routine established work Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance Safely load sheet metal into machine, unload fabricated product and stack safely, properly, and securely Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications, using square, ruler and measuring tape Operate hand & power tools, and other equipment as required to complete projects Press Brake Operator•
Qualifications:
Manufacturing environment is preferred Brake press forming and basic fabrication background a plus Competent at basic dimensional measuring and math; as well as the ability to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids Ability to work independently and with a team
Physical Demands:
Routinely walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, reaching, and handling Ability to lift at least (75) pounds Working near moving mechanical parts; near noise routinely, and exposed to outdoor elements Superior Grain Equipment is located just south of Horace, ND in the rural area. 5069 168th Ave SE/Kindred, ND 58051
