AB_5015046 Are you an experienced precision fabricator looking to bring your setup and bending expertise to a high-precision metal shop? We are seeking a skilled Amada Press Brake Operator to produce high-end sheet metal components for custom manufacturing projects! In this role, you will be the core of our precision forming department—interpreting complex blueprints, performing independent setups, and forming parts to exact engineering tolerances. If you take pride in flawless bend deductions, clean cosmetic finishes, and running top-of-the-line Amada equipment, we want to hear from you.
salary:
$70,000 - $85,000 per year shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 6 PM education:
High School Responsibilities Setup & Operation:
Perform full setups and operate Amada CNC Press Brakes (e.g., HDS, HG, or EG series with AMNC controls) to form complex sheet metal parts.
Tooling & Offsets:
Select, inspect, and align proper punch and die tooling; adjust backgauges, bend angles, and ram stroke offsets to account for material springback.
Blueprint Reading:
Interpret complex engineering drawings, shop specs, and flat pattern layouts to determine correct bend sequences and bend deductions.
Quality Inspection:
Conduct first-piece and in-process dimensional inspections using calipers, protractors, height gauges, and micrometers to hold tight tolerances.
Material Handling:
Work with various metals including aluminum, stainless steel, cold-rolled steel, and specialty alloys across multiple gauges.
