Press Brake Operator Location:
Buffalo, NY Pay Rate:
$18.00-$20.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday | 5:30 AM-4:00
PM Overtime:
Friday and Saturday as needed Our client is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with press brake setup and operation and be comfortable working with aluminum and steel components in a production environment. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality products. Responsibilities Review job orders and specifications to determine production requirements Select the appropriate dies and tooling for each job Set up press brake equipment, including positioning dies and setting the ram Set and adjust feeders to meet production specifications Operate press brake equipment safely and efficiently Monitor production to ensure quality and meet required quantities Perform periodic inspections of finished products Complete required production paperwork and documentation Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring equipment Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Assist in other areas of the production cell as needed Maintain flexibility to support different production areas when necessary Qualifications Previous manufacturing experience with press brake setup and operation Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools Ability to read and understand job specifications and measurements Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Experience using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Vocational or trade school experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable and dependable work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift as needed Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements Close vision and ability to work with small components
Schedule & Overtime Monday-Thursday:
5:30 AM-4:00
PM Friday:
5:30 AM-4:00 PM overtime as needed
Saturday:
5:30 AM-11:30 AM overtime as needed Why Apply?
