Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and setting up press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in CNC and NC machine operation, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and measurement will ensure the production of high-quality metal components that meet strict specifications. Responsibilities Operate, set up, and monitor CNC and NC press brake machines to produce accurate bends according to technical drawings and specifications. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure precise fabrication. Perform machine calibration, tool setup, and adjustments to optimize production quality and efficiency. Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain safety standards by adhering to safety protocols during machine operation and handling of materials. Troubleshoot machine issues promptly, perform routine maintenance, and document operational activities. Collaborate with team members on sheet metal fabrication projects, including forming, welding, and assembly tasks as needed. Skills Proficiency in operating press brake machines along with familiarity with CNC and NC programming for automation control. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately. Experience with CNC laser cutting is a plus. Skilled in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure and other precision tools for quality control. Knowledge of shop math, basic math skills, and safety standards in manufacturing environments. Ability to operate hand tools and forming machines safely while maintaining high standards of quality inspection. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes including forming machines Mechanical aptitude combined with strong attention to detail ensures consistent adherence to safety protocols and production quality.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
