Shift Available Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. This role requires expertise in operating press brake machines to shape metal components accurately according to specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to excel in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including tooling setup and selection. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine bending requirements accurately. Load metal sheets or components onto the press brake machine and position them precisely for bending operations. Operate the press brake machine to bend metal components to specified angles and dimensions. Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure bending tolerances and dimensions meet required standards. Make necessary adjustments to the press brake machine to maintain precision and accuracy. Inspect finished parts for defects and perform any required rework to meet quality standards. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. Adhere strictly to safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all. Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in press brake machine setup and operation. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Physical ability to lift and handle metal sheets and components. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work varying hours and adapt to changing production demands. Additional technical certifications or training in press brake operations are a plus.
