Daily Workflow:

» Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications » Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine correct bend sequences, tooling, and tolerances » Select, install, and adjust appropriate tooling (dies, punches) based on material type and thickness » Perform first article inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards » Measure finished parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools to verify accuracy » Monitor machine performance during operation and troubleshoot basic operating issues as they arise » Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all shop safety procedures » Meet production goals while maintaining quality and minimizing material waste » Communicate with supervisors, quality, and other operators regarding production issues or process improvements » Perform routine machine maintenance and daily checks as required

We're Seeking:

» Minimum 6 months of experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or fabrication environment » Ability to read and interpret blueprints and bend specifications » Experience working with various metals such as mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel preferred » Familiarity with press brake tooling, setup procedures, and basic machine programming preferred » Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality parts » Basic math skills, including ability to read tape measures and calculate dimensions » Ability to work independently with minimal supervision » Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs regularly
