Conveyor Belt Press Operator / Conveyor Belt Installer
CONVEYOR BELT PRESS OPERATOR / CONVEYOR BELT INSTALLER 2 YEARS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, APPLICANTS WITHOUT THIS EXPERIENCE NEED NOT APPLY
Starting hourly wage depends on experience, optional overtime is available, excellent benefits. Career position with opportunity for advancement. Belt Tech is highly recognized for quality conveyor belt products and customer service and has been a leader in rubber conveyor belt since 1984. Belt Tech provides a full line of industrial products including conveyor belts, sheet rubber, gaskets, hose, bearings, and power transmission products. We are currently searching for the right person to join our team in Tigard, Oregon. The candidate will learn and be responsible for running and operating a rubber belt press, installing conveyor belt on site at our customers, shipping/receiving, and operational duties. The candidate must be detail oriented, have distribution, manufacturing and/or conveyor belt experience. It is important to be excited about contributing to our team. This position has the opportunity for advancement. The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with customers and vendors in a pleasant and efficient manner.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Self motivation and the ability to excel with minimum supervision. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Ability to "multi-task" in a busy manufacturing area is essential. 2 years or more, of prior experience in slitting, installing, or selling conveyor belt. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license. Forklift driving required. Only those candidates meeting the above requirements will be contacted.
