Press Brake Operator -
North East, PA Pay:
$15.50-$18.00 per hour, based on experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a sheet metal fabrication operation in North East, PA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating press brake equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, with the ability to read technical drawings, set up equipment, and produce parts to required specifications. At least 2 years of sheet metal press brake experience is required. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machinery to form sheet metal parts. Read and accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications. Perform measurements and calculations to ensure parts meet required specifications. Set machine parameters and select appropriate tooling. Perform quality inspections and verify dimensions of completed parts. Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and accuracy. Use hand tools and other equipment as required. Assist with tooling setup and machine changeovers. Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of Press Brake experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment required. Proven experience operating press brake equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Understanding of GD&T principles preferred. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and machine setup. Experience with CNC programming and machine controls. Familiarity with hand tools, tooling setup, welding techniques, and assembly procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification preferred but not required. Crane operation experience preferred but not required. Experience with CNC press brake equipment. Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds independently . Ability to team-lift or use equipment assistance for materials weighing 200+ pounds . Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to work in high-temperature environments. Ability to hear horns, buzzers, and intercom announcements. Ability to wear required PPE at all times. Ability to work safely around moving machinery and heavy materials. Pay $15.50-$18.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications. Apply today for immediate consideration!
