Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Press Brake Setup/Operator and become a vital contributor to precision metal fabrication. Night Shift:
Sunday-Wednesday:
8PM-6AM $2,500 Sign on Bonus available for select positions! Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce precise metal components. Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments for quality control and measurement verification. Adjust machine settings based on shop math calculations and blueprint requirements to achieve desired dimensions. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety checks on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members on tooling changes, machine setups, and fabrication processes to meet production deadlines. Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools, cranes, forklifts, and forming machines. Experience Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math. Familiarity with CNC programming and CNC laser cutting is a plus but not required; training available for the right candidate. Knowledge of safety protocols related to machine operation, welding, forming machines, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and other fabrication processes. Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools for quality inspection. Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques including stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and assembly processes.
