Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machine to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to read drawings effectively. The Press Brake Operator must adhere to safety standards while maintaining high-quality production. Duties Set up and operate press brake machines for bending and shaping metal materials. Read and interpret drawings to determine specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, to ensure accuracy in production. Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Conduct quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet required specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proficiency in reading drawings and understanding technical specifications. Experience with tooling and setup of press brake and operations. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Ability to operate forklifts safely. We will test and certify here. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a manufacturing environment. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. Overtime is optional when available.
