Minimum Qualifications:
Stable work history Prior experience in an industrial setting operating manufacturing Presses Must have good work attitude and attention to detail Must be able to work overtime including weekends High School Diploma / GED preferred. Must be able to perform all job duties safely, adhere to company policies and meet company metrics.
Position Overview:
Operate Stamping and Hydroforming Presses to mass produce products such as appliance handle components, automotive components, trim pieces, etc.
by performing the following duties:
Wipe/Clean tools as required. Positions workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks and/or tube weld seam with die or blade. Loads/unloads parts, inspect, pack and gauge according to work instructions and quality standards. Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine. Observes press operation to detect workpiece defects or press malfunction. May perform reset procedure after certain malfunctions. Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of press operation. Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, scale or soil from workpiece. May perform minor press maintenance such as lubricating parts, dies, or workpieces. May assist technicians with press set-up, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces. Other job duties to be determined. Positions in our facility require standing for long periods of time. They require lifting, bending, stopping and reaching. Employees will regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, will be required to maintain production levels in a demanding environment.
