Press Brake Operator Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $22.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)

PrideStaff is partnering with a premier, high-capacity metal fabrication company in the area to find a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their dynamic production team. Key Responsibilities:
Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to blueprints and technical drawings. Select proper tooling, dies, and fixtures appropriate for the specific material thickness and bending requirements. Perform routine quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, and protractors) to ensure all finished parts meet strict specifications and tolerances. Monitor machine operations during runs, making necessary adjustments to programs or tooling to maintain consistency and efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Collaborate closely with the fabrication team and supervisors to troubleshoot production issues, minimize scrap, and optimize daily workflow.
Qualifications & Special Requirements:
Must have proven experience operating and programming CNC Press Brake machines. Strong ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, industrial engineering drawings, and geometric tolerances. Proficient in using standard precision measurement tools, including calipers, tape measures, and micrometers. Solid basic mathematical skills, including a strong comfort level with geometry and fraction-to-decimal conversions. High attention to detail, strong physical stamina, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
