What You'll Do As a Press Brake Operator , you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake equipment to produce precision metal components. You'll work from blueprints, drawings, travelers, routings, and customer specifications to produce parts accurately and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

Set up, program, edit programs, and operate CNC press brake equipment Produce precision bends and formed parts from stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, routings, and product specifications Select appropriate tooling and machine settings for each job Inspect parts during production and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality Verify finished parts meet dimensional and quality requirements Maintain consistent production while meeting customer quality and delivery requirements Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas organized Follow established safety procedures and maintain a strong focus on workplace safety Maintain good housekeeping and responsible waste-management practices Work as part of a team to keep production moving efficiently and meet deadlines What We're Looking For Several years of experience operating a press brake or similar metal-forming equipment Experience setting up and/or programming CNC press brakes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to inspect your own work and make necessary adjustments Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel is a plus Dependable work ethic and commitment to meeting production goals Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organized work environment Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team Why Join American Custom Metal Fabricating?
