Position Summary The Tool Room / Fourslide Set Up is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting fourslide machines to produce precision metal components according to blueprints. Responsible for sharpening, modifying and rebuilding tooling This position ensures production efficiency, quality standards, and safe machine operation. Key Responsibilities Set up fourslides to run production in a timely manner according to set up sheets and blueprints Install, time and set depth and location of tools and die sets Load raw materials (wire or strip stock) into machine Monitor machine performance and make necessary corrections. Complete first piece and in-process sheets by inspecting parts using measurement equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and tooling issues Complete machine maintenance, and fill out log (oil, grease) Work with operators to ensure efficiency. Keep work area clean and organized Required Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of power press setup and operation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of die setting and alignment procedures
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, comparator)
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
• Knowledge of press safety requirements
• Operation of the following equipment: Surface Grinder, Bridgeport, Lathe, Drill Press
• Troubleshoot Fourslide and Power press Preferred Skills
