Job Summary 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday with OT available. We are seeking a skilled Digital Print Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of color management, typography, and layout design. The Print Operator will collaborate with designers and other team members to produce exceptional printed materials. Duties Operate various printing presses and equipment. Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Implement quality control measures to guarantee that all printed materials meet established standards. Utilize layout design and preparation of print-ready files. Manage color consistency throughout the printing process, adjusting settings as necessary. Fabricate and prepare materials for printing, ensuring all specifications are met. Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and provide input on production feasibility. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proficiency in color management techniques and quality control processes. Experience in manufacturing processes is preferred. Strong understanding of typography and layout design principles. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Ability to operate various types of printing machinery effectively. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Prior experience in a print production setting is a plus but not mandatory. The ability to stand for up to eight hours a day and lift and move 30lbs. on a regular basis throughout the day. Minimum of 2 years printing experience. Must have computer knowledge, general knowledge of paper stocks, and general knowledge of the printing industry. Knowledge of the mailing industry is a plus. Must be able to accurately understand verbal and written instructions. Must be able to multi-task, be highly organized, detail oriented, and demonstrate self-initiative.
