Job Description

•Description•To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Operate printing press. + Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information. + Responsible for print sample retention. + Notifies Supervisor/Lead Person or Quality Assurance Technician of non-conformities. + Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work in-process and/or finished product. + Ensure raw materials have been approved for use. + Ensure all bench top test and measuring equipment being used are properly calibrated. + Identification and control of Non-conforming material. + Set-up and Clean-up machine. + Follow all applicable instructions relative to food safety and the SQF Food Safety Management System, including Employee GMP's. + Report food safety problems to personnel with the authority to initiate actions. The above reflects the duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the position and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work that may be assigned or that may be inherent in the position. + Analytical and problem solving. + An understanding of various industry color measurement instruments. + Ability to analyze and interpret technical information and procedures. + Work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, good math and mechanical skills, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized. + Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. + Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
