Duties Operate large-format printers, digital presses, flexo presses, and screen printing equipment efficiently and safely. Interpret production documents, layouts, and specifications to ensure accurate reproduction of designs. Manage color calibration and color management processes to achieve consistent, vibrant results across all print jobs. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical adjustments on industrial printing machinery to maximize uptime. Execute cutting, paper binding, and finishing tasks to prepare printed materials for delivery or distribution. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify and correct issues related to print quality or machine performance. Collaborate with graphic designers using Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to prepare files for optimal printing results. Skills Strong knowledge of color management techniques and graphic design principles. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and prepress software for file preparation. Mechanical aptitude with experience operating large-format printers, digital presses, flexo presses, and screen printing equipment. Ability to interpret manufacturing and production documents accurately. Skilled in cutting, paper binding, layout design, typography, and print advertising processes. Technical proficiency in industrial equipment adjustment and machine operation for high-volume manufacturing environments. Excellent attention to detail for quality control purposes and maintaining consistency across print runs.
