Job Overview We are seeking an experienced KBA Sheetfed Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining KBA offset printing presses, ensuring high-quality printed materials safely, efficiently and on schedule. Responsibilities Set up and operate KBA sheetfed offset presses with precision. Review job tickets and verify paper, ink, coatings, and specifications before production. Monitor print quality throughout the production run and make necessary adjustments to maintain color consistency and registration. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and preventative maintenance on complex machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical and print-quality issues to minimize downtime. Ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met. Accurately complete production reports and job documentation. Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean work area. Work closely with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other production team members. Qualifications 3+ years of experience operating KBA sheetfed offset presses preferred. Experience with multicolor printing and color management. Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed. Preferred Experience Experience operating KBA Rapida 105 or 106 presses. UV printing and aqueous coating experience.
