The ideal candidate will have strong experience in folding carton manufacturing and hands-on die cutting, along with the ability to lead and develop a team on the production floor.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise 2nd shift die cutting operations.
Supervise approximately 18-20 operators and die cutters.
Conduct daily meetings to review production schedules and priorities.
Troubleshoot die cutting equipment and production issues.
Provide hands-on technical support to machine operators.
Monitor production quality, efficiency, and customer specifications.
Improve setup and changeover times.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Partner with production, quality, maintenance, and other supervisors to resolve issues.
Coach, develop, and support employees on the production floor.
Help ensure customer deadlines and production goals are consistently met.
Strong hands-on experience with die cutting equipment and troubleshooting.
Experience leading, coaching, or developing production operators.
Strong understanding of quality, accuracy, and customer specifications.
Ability to troubleshoot production issues and work cross-functionally to resolve problems.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Spanish/English bilingual ability required.
Comfortable working directly with operators in a hands-on production environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
Experience with BOBST, Heidelberg, Jagenberg, or similar converting equipment.
Experience with blanking, foil stamping, embossing, or other secondary converting processes.
Experience with SBS board stock and folding carton materials.
Premium or custom packaging experience.
Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
Previous Supervisor, Lead, or Senior Operator experience.

The ideal candidate takes ownership of production challenges, prioritizes quality, and looks for ways to improve processes rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
Strong Leads or Senior Operators with significant technical die cutting experience and leadership potential may also be considered.

Full-Time | Direct HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Die Cutting Supervisor to lead 2nd shift operations within a high-speed, high-volume converting environment.
