Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Flexo Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality paper corrugated packaging. Your expertise in machine operation, color management, and print quality will ensure that every product meets our rigorous standards. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor flexo printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and quality output Adjust machine settings and perform mechanical troubleshooting to maintain smooth production flow Manage color calibration and color matching to achieve precise and consistent print results Interpret production documents, including job tickets and specifications, to execute print jobs accurately Conduct quality control inspections throughout the printing process to identify and correct defects Collaborate with prepress teams using software such as Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software for layout design and file preparation Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including large-format printers and screen printing machinery Assist with cutting, paper binding, and finishing processes to deliver finished products that meet client expectations Qualifications Proven experience operating flexo presses or similar industrial printing equipment Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently Proficiency in color management, graphic design principles, and typography Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to printing, cutting, binding, and machining Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards Basic understanding of large-format printers, screen printing techniques, and industrial equipment adjustment Our goal is to be a diverse workforce that is representative, at all job levels, of the citizens and customers we serve.
