The Bindery Operator must have experience on the following equipment: Saddle Stitcher, Folder, Guillotine cutter, Trimmer-stacker, Padding Machine, Drill, Shrink Wrapper, and Creaser/Folder, as well as package/box for customer pick or delivery. The Bindery Operator continues to learn upon assignment to set-up and operate the lines of associated equipment to become a more skillful and versatile operator. Work Schedule:

This is a day/first shift role (Monday - Friday) with overtime as needed during peak business times. Other schedules may be available depending on candidate and company needs.

Trade School or Co-op experience in a related field highly preferred1-3 years of Bindery Operator experience preferredMechanical skillsMachine set up and operation, Saddle stitcher and foldersSet up and fine tune of pocket to ensure minimal drops and stops during operationSet and monitor calipers to ensure quality of finished productChange and adjust trimmer knivesInspect working parts and be able to recognize those that need replacement.
