Clean, quiet, climate‑controlled About the Role We're hiring an SMT Operator for a swing shift position supporting a growing electronics manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with SMT or PCB experience who prefers a later schedule and enjoys working in a clean, organized, and low‑stress environment. You'll be responsible for operating and supporting surface‑mount production while collaborating with documentation and quality teams to ensure smooth, accurate builds. MY9, MY9E, MY100

Europlacer (as needed) Review SMT documentation packages and resolve discrepancies prior to job start Set up and operate DEK automatic and semi‑automatic solder paste printers Apply solder paste to raw printed circuit boards Load components into feeders and tray locations and verify accuracy Print and apply labels to component packages Support additional production tasks as needed, including: Conformal coating In‑process inspection Functional testing General electronic assembly What We're Looking For (Not all skills are required — flexibility based on experience) 1+ year of experience with SMT machines or PCB assembly Experience with through‑hole and/or SMT soldering Familiarity with printed circuit boards and electronic components Ability to follow work instructions and documentation Comfortable working with hand tools and bench‑level assembly Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 standards is a plus IPC‑A‑610 certification is a bonus, not required Why You'll Like It Here Up to $28/hr depending on experience Swing shift schedule (4×10s) — long weekends every week Weekly pay Clean, quiet, climate‑controlled workspace Bench sitting during assembly Laid‑back, supportive team environment Long‑term opportunity with steady work Work Environment Electronics manufacturing setting Climate‑controlled and quiet Seated bench work Organized, quality‑focused operation Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
