Crawford Composites are currently looking for an experienced Composite Technician to join our established and growing manufacturing facility in Denver, North Carolina.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Execute lamination procedures accurately per lay up instructions. Vacuum bag asigned parts in preperation for autoclave cure cycles. Workshop and employee safety Complete documentation as required by Supervisor Advise Supervisor of any product or process issues
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or higher Ability to follow Lay-up schedules and manuals and work instructions Ability to demonstrate an understanding and proficiency in various lamination techniques including but not limited to:
- Lamination of single and multi-stage parts.
- Parts involving core insertion
- An understanding of material aesthetics when laying up visual carbon parts
- ability to vacuum bag parts
- the ability to use basic lamination principles to enact solutions to new laminate schedules independently Work at speed without sacrificing Quality Ability to use hand tools and cutting implements Be capable of lifting 49lbs Be fast paced, dependable, timely individual who can work well with others; be able to work to tight timelines, and work overtime when required by Management Summary As a Composite Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the manufacturing of composite components.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will apply hands-on expertise with measuring instruments, hand tools, and assembly processes to drive quality and efficiency on the shop floor. You will interpret production documents, follow SOPs, and maintain safe, organized work practices while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Your experience in factory operations, material handling, and process optimization will help ensure timely, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced facility.
