Job Description

Role Description:
The Offset Printing Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based at our production facility in Mahwah, NJ. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining offset printing equipment used in the production of heat transfers, ensuring consistent print quality and minimal downtime. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, completing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance on presses and related machinery. The role also involves monitoring production runs, making necessary adjustments to meet quality standards, and collaborating with production staff to coordinate schedules and prioritize work. The Offset Printing Mechanic is expected to follow safety protocols, maintain accurate maintenance records, and support continuous improvement in equipment performance and workflow.
Qualifications:
Strong skills in general Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair of production or printing equipment. Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, including scheduled inspections and servicing to reduce downtime. Ability to work with Heavy Equipment, including safe handling, setup, and mechanical adjustments of offset presses and related machinery. Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues, including diagnosing root causes and implementing effective solutions. Previous experience as a mechanic, technician, or operator in printing, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced setting. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or printing is a plus.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
