128 MB. Drop files, or upload here Well established printing company is seeking an experienced Finishing Operator for their second shift at their Western New York facility. The ideal candidate should be experienced in Bobst folder gluers with a solid track record of folding carton finishing. This is a fast-paced production team driven by the principles of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Set up and operate a fold and glue equipment Ensure the proper printing in accordance with specifications Diagnose and troubleshoot issues Handle preventative maintenance Examine job orders and monitor printing processes and quality Provide guidance and training to junior operators Follow and comply with all safety and compliance procedures Qualifications High school degree required At least 3 years of recent hands-on folding gluing carton experience Ability to commute daily to the Rochester NY area or able to relocate to the area Strong color visual acuity, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to pass a background check and drug test Finishing experience with Bobst Masterfold, Expertfold, or Alpina equipment but candidates with Duran/Omega, MK Masterwork Diana/Jagenberg, Lamina, or Signature experience will also be considered Strong math and measurement skills Ability to work a 2 nd shift 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday schedule A strong commitment to quality and safety Possess mechanical aptitude Ability to lift 50 pounds All information kept in strict confidence.
