Job Description

Bring precision, skill, and leadership to every part you produce. Armor is looking for experienced Brake Press Set-Up/Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will independently set up and operate metal-forming and cutting equipment, produce parts to exact measurements, reduce scrap, and help teammates build their skills. If you take pride in quality workmanship, safe operations, and dependable results, we want to hear from you. Positions available on 1st and 2nd shifts. 5a-330p or 330p-2a What You'll Do Set up and operate brake presses, shears, saws, and die punch presses independently. Press and cut metal accurately to required measurements and specifications. Inspect work for quality while minimizing scrap and material waste. Follow safe, efficient work practices and keep the work area clean and organized. Train and educate employees on brake presses, shears, saws, and die punch presses. Collaborate with manufacturing personnel, project managers, and the area supervisor. Complete additional duties assigned by the manager. What You Bring High school diploma or GED. Five or more years of shear and press experience preferred. Familiarity with Amada equipment and Fanuc controls a plus! Ability to set up brake presses, shears, saws, and die punch presses without assistance. A consistent focus on accuracy, detail, reliability, safety, and efficiency. Ability to clearly train and support other employees.
