Job Description

COMMERCIAL PRINT OPERATOR
Our client is locally owned and operated. They are known as an industry leader in Business Communication Services, offline and online, who bring forward-thinking solutions to their customers. SUMMARY This position is for a Print Operator who loves what they do, is ready to contribute to team goals and production deadlines with attention to detail and a committed work ethic.

Monday•Friday 8:30 am•5:00 pm
PAY:
starting at $20/hr•those with preferred skills may receive higher pay starting options.

JOB DUTIES
Run several large high-speed printers (Canon, Konica Minolta, and others) at the same time with multiple projects simultaneously. Maintain company standards of quality while completing quantity goals and meeting deadlines. Offloading prints and loading materials onto the cutter while ensuring all materials remain in the correct order. Able to make adjustments to equipment in an effort to maintain optimal production output. Reports mechanical problems to appropriate personnel. Perform all phases of equipment set-up, operation, and routine maintenance. Produce work in accordance with LEAN manufacturing principles (if qualified): Prepare print-ready artwork and make minor design adjustments as needed, including formatting documents and client materials for professional output Ensure brand consistency across designed materials Collaborate with customer service and production teams on scheduling and job prioritization Assist Design Specialist with formatting or editing templates to meet the customer's needs and company quality standards using Adobe Creative Suite
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 6 months of experience running high-speed printing equipment (Canon/OCE, Konica Minolta, Rico, Kyocera) Minimum 1 year of recent work experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse facility. Highly physical position, so must be able to regularly lift to 40lbs frequently, as well as stand, move, bend, sit, and walk the entire shift. Basic Computer Skills and knowledge Proven record of excellent attendance and consistent work history over the last year.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1 year of recent working experience in Print Production/Services or a similar industry. Current working experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator.
