What You'll Do:

Analyze and interpret job jackets to thoroughly understand the needs of the customer, communicating those instructions to the bindery trainee Set up and operate collator including the fine tuning of pockets to ensure minimal stops during operation for a smooth and trouble-free production run Responsible for general preventive maintenance and inspection of machine as required Follow all required safety procedures such as: PPEs, Ergonomics, etc. Perform job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.

What You Must Bring:

High School Diploma or GED Previous experience working in manufacturing Six months bindery experience Must be mechanically inclined, flexible, and organized, with attention to detail Able to follow written and verbal instructions Strong knowledge of computer-controlled machinery in a production environment Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills It's a Plus if

You Have:

Prior Bindery experience Knowledge of a variety of small hand tools and precision measuring devices Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing on production floor Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Why Join Sheridan?
