KP Staffing is now hiring plasma operator for 3rd shift in Granbury, Texas! Job Summary The plasma operator 3rd shift will operate CNC plasma cutting equipment to cut metal plate and sheet materials based on engineering drawings, work instructions, and production specifications. This role performs machine setup, program operation, quality inspections, and routine equipment maintenance while maintaining safety, precision, and efficient material usage in a machine shop environment. Pay $22 per hour Shift 3rd shift: 3:30 p.m. - 1 a.m., Monday - Thursday Duties Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting equipment according to production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures Load and align materials, execute cutting programs, and adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and report equipment concerns as needed Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production documentation Inspect completed parts to ensure accuracy, proper dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards are met Maintain accurate production records while minimizing scrap and maximizing material usage Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and basic maintenance of plasma cutting equipment and work areas Monitor machine components, consumables, and tooling for wear or damage Report maintenance needs and ensure equipment remains safe and operational Assist with material staging, loading, unloading, and movement throughout the production area Coordinate with production teams and supervisors to support workflow priorities and material needs Maintain an organized workstation and help minimize downtime to meet production goals Qualifications Job Type Contract To Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Granbury for an in-person interview.
