Job Responsibilities:
Review job tickets and follow manufacturing instructions for each production run. Verify specifications, including color, coating, and stock gauge. Prepare die-cutting machines by loading dies, setting feeders, and adjusting cutting pressure. Inspect cut samples against blueprints to ensure accurate dimensions and quality. Obtain and verify the correct raw materials, supplies, and coatings for each job. Clear paper jams and sharpen or replace worn blades as needed. Assist with routine and preventative maintenance on equipment. Some experience with hot stamp and embossing work. Read and interpret rulers, calipers, blueprints, and production specifications. Troubleshoot machine issues and demonstrate a strong understanding of complex machinery.
Qualifications:
Experience operating die-cutting equipment required. Experience with Bobst or Heidelberg die cutters is strongly preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to stand for 8-12-hour shifts. Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Pay & Schedule:
$22
  • 29 per hour, based on experience.
