Full Job Description Job Description:
A print shop bindery worker should have knowledge of Baum Folders, Challenge Cutter, finishing machinery to assemble, trim, Wizard numbering machine, Rossback Folder and Perf, Kluge Die Cutting, joggers, stitchers, etc.. They will also assist with packaging preparation of orders as well as shipping orders out.
Qualifications:
Reliable Transportation 2+ years of experience is a plus Requires a thorough knowledge of our equipment, procedures, and a corresponding level of skill to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment Ability to diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality or job. The job requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Highschool Diploma or GED Skills:
Get familiar with our equipment if you have run similar equipment. Ability to produce work; Check instructions for specific product layouts, sizes, and binding methods. Patience and quality minded Attention to detail to troubleshoot machines if they are not properly functioning and or question jobs that seem to have incorrect information on job jackets.
Basic Math/measurement Skills Daily Tasks:
Cut, fold, gather, staple, stitch, or glue loose printed pages, numbering, collating, and packing items for delivery or shipment.
Schedule/Pay:
This position is for a set 40 hours per week (Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm). Pay for this position is based on experience.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
