Join the dynamic and ambitious team at our BPG-USA plant in Berryville, VA. With our unwavering commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. This position involves oversight of the shop's bindery equipment and supervising bindery employees. This equipment includes Mueller Martini, Bolero Binder, Kolbus, Casing-In, cutters, folding machines, die cutting, and more. Prior experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Directing and controlling the production of the manufacturing floor to produce a quality product that meets customer delivery and quality specifications. Working with associated production and service departments to review related activities to assure orderly, efficient flow of production. Establishing shift plan based on schedule, equipment and manning. Generate reports for production analysis Monitor production capabilities of equipment for efficient and quality oriented production Makes safety, quality, equipment, and scheduling decisions when necessary Assigns work and directs the activities of employees within areas of responsibilities Counsels and disciplines employees as needed Interacting with maintenance mechanics regarding equipment problems.
Qualifications:
Strong time-management skills; ability to organize and prioritize quickly, accurately and effectively; and to adjust to changes in an efficient and effective manner. Demonstrated willingness to hold self and others accountable for individual and team business results and behaviors. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated effective communication, coaching and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated ability to work closely with customers, staff and other departments to ensure effective communication and partnership to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction. 2 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.
