SIGN-ON BONUS
Earn up to $1,000.00 for joining our 2nd Shift team Earn up to $2,000.00 for joining our 3rd Shift team We are hiring Special Operators, specifically Set-Up Operators for our Cheetah machine which applies special gums and latex to our envelopes! As a Set-Up Operator, you would play a critical role in setting up machines that add special adhesives to envelopes, setting up and operating the machine, and making adjustments as needed to maintain excellent quality. You would also perform daily maintenance and minor repairs. SHIFT AVAILABLE
2nd shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm, Mon - Fri. Training takes place on 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm) 3rd
Shift:
10:30pm - 6:30am, Sun - Thurs. Training takes place on 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm)

WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?
Examines work orders to determine specifications and sample verification. Set up the machine per sample and order jacket specifications. Inspects product quality according to quality guidelines. Maintains accurate counts of envelopes to boxes, cartons, and skids. Adjusts machine and packs envelopes uniformly and neatly, keeping up with the machine's speed. Checks orders properly throughout production to ensure accurate labeling, printing, and packaging of products. Assists with removing paper jams and preventative maintenance when scheduled. Transports finished goods to the appropriate area. Ability to fill in as the Material Handler. #PlaceYourStampHere
SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE IN THIS ROLE HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS
Prior experience
SETTING UP ORDERS
on a machine specifically in a production/manufacturing facility . Manual dexterity Strong initiative Team player Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior Manufacturing experience setting up production orders on a machine using hand tools preferred.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FUNCTIONS
Stamina & Mobility:
Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for the duration of a scheduled shift (8-12 hours). Must be able to frequently bend, reach, crouch, or stoop.
Weight Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally from floor to waist and waist to shoulder.
Manual Dexterity:
Constant repetitive grasping and fine motor manipulation of paper materials and machine components.
Range of Motion:
Frequent twisting of the torso and lifting above shoulder height.
Sensory/Vision:
Must possess tactile/touch sensitivity in hands and digits. Near and far visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required for quality control and safe machine operation.
Work Environment:
Ability to perform these functions in a manufacturing environment that may include high noise levels, varying temperatures, and paper dust.
