Job Description
Bookbinder Trainee Grimm Book Bindery, Inc. Monona, WI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $12 - $13 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications No experience needed Assembly Attention to detail Full Job Description Full time or part time to work between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm Monday-Friday. We will fully train the right people in a few main aspects of hard cover bookbinding. And with time, the right candidates can end up learning all positions in the bindery. The positions we are currently looking for are in typesetting which sets up and adds the titles to the book covers. In addition, the typesetter will also learn customer service to help customers when sending in orders. We are also looking for someone to do packing & shipping on a daily basis. For both jobs, many other bindery tasks will likely be learned along the way. There is no experience necessary as we will fully train you, but attention to detail, good measuring skills or artistic abilities are all a plus. Grimm Book Bindery is a family owned business that has been in the Madison area since 1854 (that's NOT a typo!) We bind small run editions or rebind, repair & restore all sorts of books. If you've always wanted to learn bookbinding, this would be the way and you could be paid for it too! We train for all positions as there are not a lot of people that know bookbinding. We are looking for people to start immediately! See our website at www.grimmbindery.com to learn more about what we do. We are close to a bus stop - located off the Beltline by Southtowne Mall. Also a great bike ride along the bike path between Lake Monona and Monona Bay which will get you within minutes of us!
