SCREEN PRINT OPERATOR
Operates screen print presses to print decorative designs on garments by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reads work order to determine proper logo and location of screen print.
- Determines from orders type and color of designs to print.
- Checks with supervisor on all aspects of what each job curtails.
- Patrols printing area to monitor production activities and to detect problems, such as mechanical breakdowns or malfunctions.
- Trains workers in use of printing equipment and in quality standards.
- Check garments, colors, and all programs to be run.
- Loading and unloading of screen print machine.
- Feeding printed garments into the screen print dryer.
- Follows all safety procedures to assure a safe workplace.
- Other duties may be assigned as directed by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to Stand 8 to 10 Hours per Day
- Ability to Lift Up to 25 lbs Frequently
- Expected to Lift and Reach
- Able to Understand and Follow Verbal and Written Instructions with Minimal Supervision
- Able to Multitask
- Must be Able to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Must be Able to Work Flexible Schedule and Overtime, as needed
- Simple math, counting skills
- On the job training, no experience required Positive attitude and desire to be a team player Reliability in adhering to company attendance standards
