Digital Printing Press Operator

We are a screen & digital printing company in Grass Valley in search of a full-time Digital Printing Press Operator. Experience is required for this position. We cater to OEM customers printing custom labels for their products. We are not a textile or t-shirt printer. We are not a job shop. We are not a retail shop. This is a 40 hour per week full-time position with benefits. Experience with Roland, Mimaki, Epson, or similar solvent, UV or latex printers is required. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of operation, cleaning, and light maintenance on these types of printers. Experience with digital cutting equipment from Zund or another industrial flatbed cutter is desired. Secondary would be experience with a CNC machine. Experience with flexo/digital roll label print/finishing equipment is a plus. On occasion, this position may also involve helping out in other areas of the manufacturing facility. A qualified candidate will have the following: Experience with the equipment noted above. Good communication and problem solving skills. The ability to read and follow drawings, flowcharts, procedures and work instructions. Strong attention to detail. Good hand-eye coordination. The ability to meet deadlines. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must be 18 years of age or older. Starting wage DOE ($18 minimum). Additional wage consideration for candidates with a digital print industry background. Prior experience in a traditional printing environment will also be considered.. After 3 months full time employees gain access to holiday pay, PTO, medical / dental / vision, 401K w/match, and eligibility for discretionary bonuses. PTO accrues from Day 1. Health benefits have a VERY low employee contribution. Hours are typically 7:30AM - 4PM with a 30 minute meal break but there is some flexibility. This job requires a background check prior to employment.
