Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Post-Press Operator opportunities in Des Plaines, IL. Responsibilities for a Post-Press Operator include but are not limited to: Perform routine manual and automated post-press functions, set up basic bindery equipment, and utilize computer systems to ensure accurate product runs, proper ink coverage, and correct binding margins. Inspect, stamp, and proofread customer orders against shop order specifications, ensuring accurate quantities, proper labeling, and adherence to quality standards. Maintain production workflow by operating powered hand trucks, loading trucks, monitoring stock supply areas, and strictly following warehouse policies and postal delivery compliance. Candidates for Post-Press Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered: Must be at least 18 years old, eligible to work in the USA, and possess basic math and reading skills (High School Diploma/GED preferred). Ability to operate powered hand trucks and complete forklift assessment requirements. Experience in manufacturing, printing operations, or equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred. Minimum 3+ years of off-line PC-DMIS programming experience, including the ability to generate, validate, and troubleshoot CMM programs and hardware.
