Full-Time Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Printing Press Operator to support a fast-paced production environment. This is a hands-on position responsible for operating and supporting a variety of printing, engraving, and finishing equipment used to produce personalized products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with printing equipment or related production machinery and be comfortable setting up equipment, making basic adjustments, inspecting finished products, and maintaining consistent quality throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor printing and engraving equipment according to work orders and production requirements. Operate equipment such as pad printers, UV printers, stationary printing and bindery equipment, die-cutting equipment, and engraving machines. Prepare inks, printing plates/clichés, fixtures, pads, materials, and other production supplies. Make basic machine and process adjustments to maintain print quality, placement, color accuracy, and production efficiency. Produce personalized products according to customer specifications, artwork, work instructions, and quality standards. Inspect products throughout the production process for print quality, color, placement, alignment, engraving, and overall appearance. Identify defects and make appropriate adjustments to correct quality issues. Troubleshoot minor equipment and print-quality issues and communicate larger issues to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance personnel. Monitor production output and complete required production records and documentation. Assist with assembly, finishing, packaging, and order preparation as needed. Maintain clean, organized, and safe equipment and work areas. Clean and maintain printing equipment, tools, and production areas. Assist with inventory, material replenishment, and restocking of production supplies. Work closely with supervisors and other production team members to meet daily production and quality goals. Qualifications & Experience Previous printing experience is required. Experience operating printing presses, pad printers, UV printers, engraving machines, or similar production equipment. Experience with pad printing, UV printing, screen printing, stationary printing, bindery, die cutting, or personalized-product production is highly preferred. Ability to read and follow work orders, production schedules, work instructions, and customer specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality finished products. Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to make routine machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Basic computer skills and ability to record production information. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical & Working Requirements:

Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive production tasks requiring hand and arm movement. Ability to lift up to approximately 30 pounds occasionally. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Comfortable working around inks, solvents, cleaning solutions, and production equipment while following required safety procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while meeting daily deadlines.
