Screen Print Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Screen Print Assistant to join our vibrant manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the production of high-quality printed materials by assisting with all aspects of the screen printing process. Your energetic approach and keen eye for detail will help ensure that each print meets our quality standards, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties Prepare screens, inks, and substrates for printing, ensuring all materials are ready for production Assist with setting up and aligning screens on the printing press to ensure accurate registration and color matching Support the operation of manual and automated screen printing equipment, including flexo presses and CNC machinery when applicable Conduct prepress tasks such as color management, layout design, and typography adjustments using Adobe Creative Suite tools Monitor print runs for quality consistency, performing routine quality control checks and troubleshooting issues as they arise Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of inks, screens, and printing supplies Support calibration of equipment to meet specifications for color accuracy and print quality Qualifications Basic knowledge of screen printing techniques and processes Experience with prepress operations, including color management and layout design Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign Understanding of manufacturing environments and safety protocols in a print production setting Ability to operate machinery such as flexo presses, CNC machines, or related equipment is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed Nice-to-have skills include experience with typography, print advertising production, machining processes, forklift operation certification, and familiarity with CNC technology.
