Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Flexographic Print Manager to oversee operations for a PCMC press, two Uteco presses, the ink room, and the mounting department. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operation of a PCMC press and two Uteco presses Lead and develop teams in the pressroom, ink room, and mounting department Ensure production meets internal quality standards and customer specifications Manage scheduling, staffing, training, and employee development Partner with maintenance to support preventative maintenance and reduce downtime Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Manager to develop and implement best standard practices for machine settings, process controls, and quality control methods across all shifts Provide flexibility to meet with off‑shift teams for departmental meetings, communication updates, and training initiatives to ensure alignment across all crews Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, efficiency, and quality Monitor production KPIs and implement process corrections as needed Oversee ink inventory, plate readiness, mounting accuracy, and material usage Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment Qualifications Required 5+ years of wide‑web flexographic printing experience Hands-on experience with PCMC and/or Uteco flexographic presses Mechanical aptitude with full understanding of machine equipment and key quality‑influencing factors, including anilox rolls, doctor blades, ink viscosity, deck calibration, nip pressures, web tension, and related process controls Understanding of density and dot gain influence on reproducibility in process printing
