Job Description
Toof American Digital Printing, founded in 1864, has been at the forefront of the commercial printing and direct mail production industry for over 160 years. Based in Memphis, TN, it is one of the ten largest commercial printing and direct mail production firms in the South thanks to its highly skilled work force and ongoing investment in equipment and technology. The company maintains a 60,000 square-foot facility with more than 55 employees. Job Summary We are seeking experienced Web Press Operator to join our Day shift production team in Memphis, Tennessee. If you have experience operating commercial web presses and are committed to producing high-quality printed products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you. Our web press is a Baker Perkins, G-14 Heat-set press with GMI Color. This 8 unit press has a C-2 Combination folder and F-2 Former folder inline. We also run a VITS sheeter inline as needed. While experience with this press is highly preferred, candidates with experience on other commercial web presses are also encouraged to apply. We value web press experience and are willing to train qualified operators on our equipment. Responsibilities You will be responsible to: 1. Set up, operate, and monitor web printing presses. 2. Maintain consistent print quality while meeting production schedules. 3. Perform routine press adjustments and troubleshooting. 4. Complete quality inspections throughout production runs. 5. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. 6. Work with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime. Qualifications 1. Previous experience operating commercial web printing presses. 2. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. 3. Ability to read job tickets and maintain quality standards. 4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. 5. Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
