Job Description
Advanced Graphix, founded in 1993 in Lubbock, Texas is a leading promotional marketing firm in West Texas. We serve our customers to help them promote themselves and their organizations through screen printed products, embroidered products, signs, banners and promotional products. We are currently hiring for the following position: Press Assistant -The Press Assistant at AGX is responsible for assisting the lead press operator in the production process and ensuring that high-quality printed products are produced efficiently and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate should have some experience in screen printing with a strong attention to detail. This includes sourcing and prepping screens, mixing stock and custom PMS ink colors, as well as pulling shirts, maintaining clean production tools and general cleanliness. Duties include Sourcings and prepping screens Mixing stock and custom PMS ink colors Pulling shirts Maintaining clean production tools General cleanliness Assisting lead press operator in other areas of production Skills required Minimum 6 months experience in a screen printing shop Ability to lift up to 35lbs A keen eye for detail and organization Able to take direction well in a fast paced environment Team player Other Must have reliable transportation
