Zapco Inc. has been in business 30+ years and we are looking to hire an experienced Offset Printing Press Operator to help us keep growing. Responsibilities Make set ups, operate, and monitor a 6 color 40" Heidelberg Speedmaster offset printing press. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance to ensure the press is operating according to specifications. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule. Conduct quality control checks throughout print runs to ensure consistent, accurate, and high-quality output. Perform color matching to maintain color consistency across repeat and ongoing jobs. Use Zapco's production platform to update job statuses, including marking jobs as in progress and complete. Cut paper to the required sizes according to job specifications. Burn printing plates using a Heidelberg Suprasetter. Skills Strong knowledge and experience operating offset printing presses, including the 6 color 40" Heidelberg Speedmaster, and Suprasetter. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills related to industrial printing equipment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and ensuring completed orders meet customer specifications. Ability to lift over 50lbs.
