Assembler Job Description We are seeking x30 Assemblers to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Virginia. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in industrial manufacturing, construction, mechanical assembly, carpentry, electrical work, or other hands-on trades. If you enjoy working with tools, reading measurements, following blueprints, and building high-quality products in a team-oriented environment, this opportunity is perfect for you. We value candidates who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to learn. Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly tasks using hand and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures to ensure accurate assembly. Collaborate with team members to build high-quality products. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Essential Skills Experience in construction or industrial manufacturing. Proficiency in mechanical assembly. Ability to use hand and power tools effectively. Skilled in reading blueprints or tape measures. General labor or skilled trades experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Solid attendance and work ethic. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work takes place in a prefabrication manufacturing environment that is not climate-controlled, with heating provided during colder months. Employees work a minimum of 48 hours per week, from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday, 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Required personal protective equipment includes steel-toed boots, a hard hat, safety vest, and safety glasses. Contractors must provide their own steel-toed boots, while all other PPE will be provided on the first day of orientation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
