Job Title:
Production Assembler Job Description This role focuses on assembling products in a production environment using basic hand and power tools, following blueprints, and ensuring each unit meets quality and safety standards. You will work as part of a collaborative production team to support efficient manufacturing, inspection, and packaging of finished products. Responsibilities Assemble products using basic hand tools and power tools in a production or manufacturing environment. Read and interpret mechanical blueprints to complete accurate assemblies. Perform pre-kitting activities by gathering and organizing parts and components needed for assembly. Carry out tapping, drilling, and mounting tasks according to specifications and instructions. Inspect assembled products for quality, accuracy, and completeness before packaging. Package and prepare finished products for shipping, following established packing and packaging procedures. Able to wire and crimp connections Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of safety glasses, gloves, and other required protective equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations. Collaborate with a team of production associates to support continuous workflow and meet overall production goals. Perform general labor tasks related to production and assembly as needed. Essential Skills 1-2 years of assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints. Proficiency using basic hand tools and power tools for assembly work. Experience working on an assembly line or in a high-volume production setting. Strong attention to detail for inspection and quality checks. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Capability to perform tapping, drilling, and mounting tasks safely and correctly. Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts. Comfort working overtime, including some Saturdays, as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with packing, packaging, and preparing products for shipment. Experience in general labor within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Comfort working in a team setting of 15-30 production associates. Willingness to contribute to building a positive and collaborative production culture. Flexibility to work in different areas such as assembly, production, and shipping as needed. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing and warehouse facility with a production team of approximately 15-20 people, and a broader friendly group of 20-30 in production. The operation recently relocated its manufacturing site and is actively building a strong, collaborative culture in its new location. Standard hours are 1st shift Monday through Friday, with candidates in the shipping department working from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The schedule includes frequent overtime, with 2-3 Saturdays per month and up to 20-25 hours of overtime per week, depending on production needs. Required dress code includes safety glasses, gloves, closed-toe shoes, and shorts are permitted in accordance with safety guidelines. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
