Job Description

Job Title:
Assembler Job Description Under close supervision, the Assembler will perform repetitive assembly and testing operations in a manufacturing environment of pumps, service kits, motors, and drive couplings. The role involves refurbishing pumps, bypasses, and sub-assemblies as well as assembling, testing, and packaging components using necessary fixtures and tooling. The position requires assembling high precision products made from materials such as stainless steel, ceramics, and plastics like acrylic and peek.
Pay:
$20/hr + overtime available
Shift:
First (1st) shift: 4:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Thursday Responsibilities Perform bench assembly operations and conduct repetitive operations on pump heads, service kits, motor, and drive housings. Refurbish units, bypass, and sub-assemblies. Check assemblies for proper fit, adjusting and replacing parts and components as required. Test pump and motor assemblies using written test procedures. Rework faulty pump and/or motor assemblies by replacing parts if necessary. Read and fully understand product sketches, drawings, MCD's, and PCD's. Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment, such as gauges, flow meters, and test stands. Transport parts to be tested and completed parts to the appropriate area for shipping or stocking. Determine product rejects for rework or scrap and complete required paperwork. Participate in organizing statistical quality control. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills High School Graduate or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions. Capable of reading fine graduations on micrometers. Good mechanical aptitude required. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Visual acuity needed for close detail work, microscope inspection, operating tools and machinery, using measurement devices, and visual inspection involving small defects and parts. Why Work Here? The work environment involves using advanced tools and technologies to ensure high-quality product assembly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middleborough, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
