Tucson, AZ Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Moving Fastening tools Manual assembly Technical troubleshooting support Clean workspace maintenance Full Job Description An Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling all pieces intrinsic to the assembly of a shock while adhering to a specified set of assembly prints and procedures.
The tech shall:
certify the correct quantities and component parts, use hand tools and mechanical equipment to assemble sub-assemblies and completed shocks, and quality check the finished assembly. When product is in need of maintenance, the assembly technician will provide technical support and help solve the issue.
Typical daily tasks include:
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and hammers
  • Use of drills, presses, vacuum pumps, and pneumatic air tools
  • Application of grease, oil, and adhesives
  • Moving finished assemblies (~30lbs) over to a quality control area
  • Read and create assemblies based on an assembly print
  • Follow company procedures and directives
  • Maintain a clean workspace
