Production Assembler Temporary Non-Employee
Job Description
In a controlled environment using a Personal Protective Equipment with an assisted breathing air, executes a variety of tasks that includes receipt and verification of materials, calibration and operation of equipment, dispensing or packaging dry and/ or wet products, assembly of components and kits, performing visual inspections, calculations, and completing required documentation by following Good Documentation Practices. Performs basic manufacturing tasks and maintenance of semi-automatic and/or automated assembly equipment and tools for consumables. Performs calibration or setup, basic troubleshooting and operation of equipment; executes dispensing or packaging of dry and/or wet products, labelling and assembly of components and kits. Performs in-line quality inspection which involves use of close vision, color vision, depth perception and adjust focus. Inspects products using visual, automated, electronic, and mechanical inspection procedures to confirm specifications are met. Strictly follow work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) procedures to execute production tasks safely and accurately. Handle chemicals/ hazardous materials with the use of hood with assisted breathing air. Verifies required materials against the procedure order, prepares work area and line clearance prior to production operation. Adheres to ISO 13485 and/ or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/Quality Systems) and completes documentation accurately and timely following Good Documentation Practices (GDP). May work different shifts to meet production demand; completes special projects and other duties assigned such as processing rework, scrap and waste disposal. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to follow comprehensive written instructions, to work independently as well as in a team environment. Read, interpret, understand, carry out and communicate instructions and correspondence both orally and in writing. With knowledge of
GMP, ISO
requirements and to perform basic math and problem solving where applicable. Basic computer skills. SAP knowledge a plus. Ability to work a flexible schedule, with overtime and weekends as needed. Stand, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, reach, grip, lift and carry at least 15 lbs on a regular and repetitive basis and use equipment such as pallet jack and lift assist for heavier materials.
