Temporary Position Summary Kimco Staffing is hiring 2nd Shift Assemblers for a manufacturing company in Huntington Beach. This position involves assembling plumbing components and fixtures, picking and inspecting parts, using hand tools, and completing basic computer and production tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with hand tools, and able to follow instructions and safety procedures. Job Duties Assemble plumbing systems and fixtures, including spouts, valves, showerheads, and other components. Inspect finished components during assembly to ensure they meet quality standards. Read and follow work instructions and locate parts using Pick Tickets. Accurately pick parts for final assembly, verifying the correct type and quantity. Notify the Team Leader of quality issues, discrepancies, or parts shortages. Use hand tools and push carts as required. Transport parts and completed orders to different staging areas using material handling equipment. Read and count accurately, perform basic math, and complete paperwork neatly. Scan tickets into the ERP computer system and retrieve order information as needed. Perform corrective maintenance on water systems, including valves and blow-offs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic math and counting skills. Basic computer skills and ability to use an ERP system. Ability to communicate quality issues, discrepancies, and parts shortages to the Team Leader. Ability to identify problems and help implement solutions. Ability to work efficiently and adapt to changing priorities. Dependable and reliable attendance. Ability to follow all safety regulations and properly use required PPE. Previous assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or plumbing-related experience is a plus.
