Job Description
Systems Fabrication Technician
Huntington Beach, CA Temporary $30.00 - $35.00/hr Onsite Job Description We have two openings for Systems Fabrication Technicians. We are located in Huntington Beach, Ca close to the 405 freeway. This will be onsite and the hours are from 7:00am-3:30pm Responsibilities Assemble and test intricate mechanical components and systems from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
Fabricate and adapt components for custom builds, applying sound judgment where drawings leave room for interpretation.
Perform manual tube bending, coning, and threading on metal tubing-including stainless steel and high-pressure tubing-with accuracy and consistency.
Use hand and power tools for precision fabrication and assembly, including metal cutting.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair existing test systems.
Adhere to all safety regulations and quality control procedures to ensure product integrity.
Collaborate with engineers and fellow technicians to hit project milestones.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on fabrication and mechanical assembly experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to build complex mechanical assemblies.
Proven adaptability-comfortable taking on unfamiliar builds and figuring them out.
Solid knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and precision measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings and schematics.
Ability to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Strongly preferred:
Experience with manual tube bending, coning, and threading of tubing.
Aerospace assembly and fabrication experience. Bonus Skills (Preferred) Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
Experience with high-pressure tubing assemblies.
Welding experience.
Basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with CAD software.
Pay $30-$35 an hour. DOE.
